The devastating impact caused the Toyota to burst into flames, trapping the two teens inside, leading to their untimely deaths.

Authorities later located the abandoned BMW a short distance from the crash site, prompting an ongoing investigation to identify the driver. Road closures were in effect for several hours following the incident.
