On December 8, 2023, a bicyclist was airlifted to a trauma center following a collision with a delivery truck on Seymour Street in Fredonia. Fredonia Fire Department Chief Joshua Myers confirmed the incident, which was reported at approximately 3:22 p.m. Additional details are currently unavailable, but emergency responders from the Fredonia Fire Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department, and New York State Police were on the scene to assist.
In other news, recent events in Western New York have led to the arrest of six individuals involved in a physical altercation on the 500 block of Main Street. Additionally, a Dunkirk man has been found guilty in a retrial related to a kidnapping case from 2016 in Chautauqua County.
