A severe auto accident occurred on Monday evening, June 10, around 5 p.m. at the Salem-Keizer city border, precisely at the intersection of River Road and Broadway Street near Elegant Catering. This incident happened at an intersection previously highlighted by Keizertimes for recurring issues, including damage to the “welcome to Salem-Keizer” sign caused by multiple accidents over the years.
The collision involved three vehicles – a golden Chevy Trailblazer, a green Dodge 4×4 pickup, and a Nissan SUV that ended up on its side and was significantly damaged. The Chevy and Dodge sustained various damages, with the Nissan-like vehicle undergoing serious damage throughout.
